I let the dawn wake up a little later today
 I let the dusk wake up early this night  
 I let the spring leave early this May
 I let the moon shine very bright
 

 I converted a great desert to a beautiful sea
 I let a mountain sit down to rest
 I asked a bird to sit and not to flee
 I stopped a river on the mountain’s crest
 

 I asked the Sun not to rise in the East
 I converted a minute to an hour
 I played in the darkness with a wild beast
 I decorated thorns around the flower
 

 I let two strangers come together
 I let a demon fall apart
 This design is not forever
